President Donald Trump’s niece and psychologist, Mary Trump, slammed her uncle during an appearance on the Meidas Touch Network on Thursday. Mary has never been shy of delivering harsh criticisms of the President, and this time was no different. “He will never be able to face it,” she said. “He is a deeply damaged human. There’s so much wrong with him. He is exactly the opposite of what he claims to be. He’s weak, he’s pathetic, he’s not intelligent. I don’t know that he has any redeeming qualities at all anymore.” Mary also claimed that there was a “sense of wrongness” about her uncle which increased his need to “attack the vulnerable,” since it allegedly made him feel better about himself. So far into his second term as President, several of Trump’s policies have come under fire from Democrats, which they allege has made life difficult for millions of Americans. Some of these policies include making cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Medicaid.
Some Democrats believe that Trump’s policies have even made life difficult for senior citizens. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) released a report earlier this year, which pointed out the various ways the White House has done so. Some of them include the administration’s failure to address inflation and the cost of living, attacking the infrastructure of Social Security, and gutting Medicaid in order to give tax breaks to the wealthy.
“When Donald Trump was campaigning, he promised to ‘stop inflation’, protect Social Security, and leave Medicaid alone. As president, he has broken all of those promises,” she said. “My report shows that instead of fighting for seniors, the president has attacked the very programs that help them stay afloat, including Social Security, Medicaid, and nutrition assistance programs. As a result, American seniors are sicker, poorer, and more vulnerable today than they were just a year ago.”
Mary Trump accuses President of using public office for private gain
Trump’s policies are not the only thing Mary has criticised of late. Speaking on Mary Trump Media earlier, she claimed that President Trump had never made a lot of money in his life, and only became a billionaire after becoming president. “Donald never actually made any money in his life. He inherited a lot of money. Lost a lot of money. And has since figured out how to leverage the power of the presidency to grift,” she said.
“He has more money now than he has ever had before in his life. He was never a billionaire until now. And that should raise red flags for everybody because nobody should use the power of the presidency to enrich themselves. They should be paying their full attention to the work of being president of the United States,” she said. Mary also claimed that the business deals he and his children have cut during his second term as President have threatened the country’s national security.
