In the clip, she claimed Americans were being &#8220;robbed&#8221; by their healthcare system after discovering that the same medicine her aunt relies on costs hundreds of times less in India than in the US.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\" \">\n<div class=\"undefined\">\n<div class=\"Content_Content__Bx4Rj\">\n<p>The woman, identified as Liz, shared the video on Instagram under the title\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Indian vs American healthcare.&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0Using her aunt&#8217;s blood cancer treatment as an example, she highlighted the price gap between the branded version of the drug in the US and the generic alternative available in India.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\" \">\n<div class=\"undefined\">\n<div class=\"Content_Content__Bx4Rj\">\n<p>Praising India&#8217;s access to affordable medicines, Liz said, &#8220;India has some of the cheapest medicines in the world. My aunt has a type of blood cancer, and she takes this medicine called Revlimid.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\" \">\n<div class=\"undefined\">\n<div class=\"Content_Content__Bx4Rj\">\n<p>She continued, &#8220;In the US, one pill costs $900, which is Rs 85,000. I checked.
